Zodiac Aerospace has reported sales of EUR1,201.9m for the first quarter of its fiscal year 2016/2017, a decrease of 2.9 percent on a reported basis and 2.8 percent like-for-like, the company said.
Aerosystems activities, which are 39.7 percent of total revenue, reported EIR477.3 million of sales, the company said.
As in 2015/2016, Aerosystems said it was impacted by lower sales to helicopter, business jets and regional jets markets.
Aircraft Interiors activities (60.3 percent of total revenue) sales amounted to EUR724.6 million in the first quarter, combining a negative -0.5 point forex impact and a -0.5 percent organic growth, and resulting in a -1.0 percent change over the first quarter of 2015/2016.
Zodiac seats branch reported EUR306.5 million in first quarter sales, a decrease of 4.4 percent compared to the first quarter 2015/2016.
Zodiac cabin branch reported an increase of 0.6 percent organic growth of its sales, reflecting ramp up of new programs. Adding a 1.1 point positive forex impact, sales increased by 1.7 percent to EUR418.1 million.
