Aviation Capital Group (ACG), the commercial aircraft leasing subsidiary of Pacific Life Insurance Company, has promoted James A. Zembrzuski to senior vice president and general counsel, the company said.
In this role, Mr. Zembrzuski will lead ACG´s legal department and serve as a member of the senior leadership team. Zembrzuski joined ACG in February 2015 serving as a vice president in the legal department.
Prior to joining ACG, Mr. Zembrzuski worked as in-house counsel at International Lease Finance Corporation in its Los Angeles and Amsterdam offices. In that role, he advised the company in connection with a wide variety of aircraft finance and leasing matters, including operating lease transactions, secured debt financings, and asset-backed securitizations.
Zembrzuski earned a bachelor´s degree in commerce from the University of Virginia and a Juris Doctor degree from George Washington University Law School.
