Yoga on the Fly®, the first-to-market private airport yoga concept, has announced the opening of its first studio, the company said.
Offering yoga and meditation practices designed for the modern traveler, Yoga on the Fly娫s simple and efficient experience focuses on alleviating stress, promoting health and increasing well-being.
The concept provides easy-to-follow instructional videos, yoga mats and wireless headsets within each of its private, mini studios, offering passengers and air travel employees an escape from the mental and physical stress of traveling. Yoga on the Fly娫s first studio will open at Denver International Airport (DEN) on Nov. 6, with additional airport locations rolling out in 2018.
Yoga on the Fly® was founded by Elizabeth Feinstone and Avery Westlund, who met while teaching yoga on a retreat in Nicaragua and connected over their shared love of travel, as well as their aversion to the unfavorable effects it takes on body and mind.
Yoga on the Fly娫s DEN studio will encase a welcoming reception desk, five private studio rooms and a curated retail selection of athleisure wear and mindful travel accessories. Class options range from 8 to 20 minutes and include yoga, meditation and breathwork via instructional iPad videos.
