xG Technology, Inc. (NASDAQ: XGTI) (NASDAQ: XGTIW) has appointed John Procacci as vice president of sales for its xMax and Integrated Microwave Technologies business units, the company said.
In this position, Procacci will have responsibility for leading the sales organization at xG Technology, and will have both the entire IMT sales team as well as xG commercial sales team members as direct reports. He will also work in concert with cross-functional teams that include marketing, product development, operations and support to design and deliver superior communications solutions to clients.
Procacci brings over 25 years of sales and business development experience representing technical product manufacturers, with 12 years focused on engineered products targeting DoD and Federal program requirements. Most recently, he served as business development director at Mercury Systems, a commercial defense electronics company.
