wx24 Pilot 'Aviation Weather at a Glance' app launches

Aviation technology company 1 Echo Charlie, LLC has launched its aviation weather application for Apple mobile devices, wx24 Pilot, the company said.

Unlike other aviation weather apps which display text versions of weather data, the wx24 Pilot interprets the same data and then presents them in an easy to understand graphical presentation.

wx24 Pilot pulls together the myriad of aviation weather reports into a simple visual format allowing pilots to quickly see “Aviation Weather at a Glanceâ„¢.” Now pilots can instantly view METARs, TAFS, Airmet, Sigmets, and even TFRs on one screen with minimal time and effort.

The graphical presentation of aviation weather by wx24 Pilot allows pilots to quickly assess aviation weather reports and improves situational awareness and safety of the flight.

wx24 Pilot is an iOS app developed by Paxton Calvanese, owner and CEO of 1 Echo Charlie, LLC. Paxton has the unique blend of technical and creative talent — as a software developer, user experience expert, and talented photographer.
