Pratt & Whitney has joined WiderÃ¸e in celebrating the delivery of the first Embraer E190-E2 aircraft, powered exclusively by Pratt & Whitney Geared Turbofanâ¢ (GTF) engines, the company said.
The delivery was commemorated in a ceremony attended by Embraer, WiderÃ¸e and Pratt & Whitney officials at Embraer´s headquarters in SÃ£o JosÃ© dos Campos, SÃ£o Paulo, Brazil.
WiderÃ¸e is the largest regional airline in Scandinavia, operating more than 450 flights per day to 46 domestic and international destinations. The E190-E2 is the airline´s first turbofan-powered aircraft, which will allow it to expand its route network, particularly to international destinations.
