WideOpenWest, Inc. (“WOW!”) (NYSE: WOW), a fully integrated provider of residential and commercial high-speed data, video and telephony services to customers in the United States, has announced financial and operating results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2018, the company said.
Total Subscriber net additions of 5,200, the best net subscriber metrics for a third quarter in the last four years; Third quarter and year-to-date subscriber churn was the best subscriber churn for a third quarter and the year-to-date period in at least two years.
For the quarter ended September 30, 2018, WOW! reported Total Revenue of USD 291.6 million, down USD 6.2 million, or 2.1%, compared to the quarter ended September 30, 2017. The company reported third quarter 2018 Net Income of USD 30.5 million and Adjusted EBITDA of USD 106.7 million.
On a reported basis, for the quarter ended September 30, 2018, Total Revenue was USD 291.6 million, an increase of 0.1% on a sequential basis compared to the quarter ended June 30, 2018, driven primarily by HSD RGU net additions.
Total subscription revenue for the quarter ended September 30, 2018, was USD 267.3 million. Residential Subscription Revenue was USD 234.3 million, and Business Services Subscription totaled USD 33.0 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2018. Business Services Subscription Revenue, including the impact of Acquisitions and Dispositions, increased USD 3.9 million, or 13.4%, compared with the quarter ended September 30, 2017.
