WestJet begins Boston service from Halifax

WestJet (TSX: WJA) has launched its newest service out of Halifax with the departure of flight 3712 to Boston, the company said.

The new flight will operate daily on WestJet Encore´s fleet of Canadian-made Bombardier Q400 NextGen aircraft.

Premier Stephen McNeil welcomed the service and said it will further strengthen Nova Scotia´s longstanding close ties with Boston and the New England region.

WestJet offers scheduled service to 100 destinations in North America, Central America, the Caribbean and Europe.
