Vonage opens lines to Japan, Ecuador following earthquakes

Vonage (NYSE: VG) will waive per-minute calling charges to Japan and Ecuador from 5:00 p.m. April 18, 2016 until 11:59 p.m. ET April 24, 2016, the company said.

All Vonage residential service customers in the US and Canada calling Japan and Ecuador are eligible.

In addition, anyone using the Vonage Mobile® App is eligible for free calls to both countries during the same time period. The App is available for iPhone® and Android™ smartphones, and consumers do not need to be Vonage residential service subscribers to use the App.
