Vivint launches smart home giveaway for families affected by autism spectrum disorder

Vivint Smart Home, a smart home company in North America, has announced the grand opening of a sensory room at the Vivint Smart Home Arena for children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other intellectual and developmental disabilities, the company said.

Designed and built by Vivint and the Jazz, the sensory room is one of the most advanced in any NBA arena. The room provides a safe haven for children with conditions related to neurodiversity during NBA games and other arena events.

Vivint also kicked off a national smart home giveaway in honor of Autism Awareness Month to give away free smart home systems in April to four families affected by ASD.

Vivint Smart Home partners with several advocacy groups, including Autism Speaks, the National Autism Association and the Autism Society.
