Vertiv acquires MEMS maintenance business

Vertiv has announced that it has completed the purchase of the maintenance business of MEMS Power Generation (MEMS), a privately owned company headquartered in the United Kingdom that specializes in temporary power solutions, the company said.

This marks the third acquisition for Vertiv, and is consistent with the company´s growth strategy. MEMS will now focus entirely on its generator rentals solutions business.

The 160 MEMS contract customers in the UK range from data centers to hospitals and universities to industrial companies and utilities. Vertiv will service the newly acquired MEMS customers with the Vertiv UK service team.

Vertiv and MEMS Power Generation closed the sale on Nov. 30, 2018. MEMS transferred all its service and maintenance contracts to Vertiv at that time.
