Verizon names president of Pacific market

Verizon Wireless (NYSE: VZ) (NASDAQ: VZ) has appointed Jonathan LeCompte as president of its Pacific Market based at the company´s market headquarters in Irvine, California, the company said.

LeCompte will lead all business functions across the seven-state market including California, Oregon, Washington, Alaska, Hawaii, northern Nevada and northern Idaho.

LeCompte returns to the West Coast after a four-year assignment as president for Verizon´s Georgia/Alabama Region based in Atlanta, GA. He has also served as acting president for the company´s Northern California/Nevada/Hawaii and the Southern California Regions. LeCompte has more than 20 years of experience with multiple leadership roles in the company´s retail, telesales and indirect distribution channels.

Verizon Communications Inc. generated nearly USD132 billion in 2015 revenues. Verizon operates America´s wireless network, with 113.2 million retail connections nationwide that provide communication and entertainment services over mobile broadband and all-fiber network.
