Verizon names president of Northeast market

Verizon Wireless has appointed Kevin Zavaglia as president of its Northeast Market located in its Morristown, New Jersey headquarters, the company said.

Zavaglia will oversee all business functions across the 10-state market including New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, Rhode Island, western Pennsylvania and northern Delaware.

Previously, Zavaglia served as president of the company´s New York Metro Region. Prior to that, he led Verizon Enterprise Solutions´ North America.

Verizon Communications Inc. (NYSE: VZ) (NASDAQ: VZ) generated nearly USD132 billion in 2015 revenues and has 113.2 million retail connections nationwide. The company provides communications and entertainment services over mobile broadband and all-fiber network.
