Verizon approves FCC vote on Spectrum Frontiers Order

Verizon Communications Inc. (NYSE: VZ) (NASDAQ: VZ) has supported the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) decision to approve the Spectrum Frontiers order, adopting new rules that will make thousands of megahertz of high frequency spectrum available, the company said.

The company said the decision to make this spectrum available for commercial use will help ensure that the US maintains its leadership position in wireless communications and 5G has the potential to transform the connectivity marketplace.

Verizon Communications Inc. generated nearly USD132 billion in 2015 revenues, and has 112.6 million retail connections nationwide.
