Vacation Express announces new route to Cancun from Rhode Island

Vacation Express is launching nonstop charter service beginning July 7, 2017 to Cancun from T.F. Green Airport (PVD), the company said.

Flights will depart weekly leaving every Friday starting with its inaugural flight on July 7th through July 28, 2017 with options available for 6-night, all-inclusive vacation packages at any one of the 100+ hotels offered by Vacation Express or, for those who already have a place to stay, low prices on roundtrip airfare.

Vacation Express´ non-stop flights are operated by Swift Air, LLC. on Boeing 737-300 series aircraft.

Atlanta, Georgia-based Vacation Express, part of Sunwing Travel Group, is a tour operator specializing in quality, affordable vacation packages to over 30 destinations in the Caribbean, Mexico and Costa Rica, and Cuba.

PVD, located 8 miles south of Providence in Warwick, Rhode Island, is the 3rd largest airport in New England, with a catchment area that attracts passengers from nearby Massachusetts and southeastern Connecticut. Almost two-thirds (64%) of New England´s population lives within 75 miles of Green.

American, Delta, JetBlue, Southwest, and United airlines serve PVD. International service includes TACV, Norwegian Airlines, and Azores Airlines. Cargo carriers, Fed Ex and UPS, round out the service. MBTA commuter rail service connects PVD to Boston.
