On Giving Tuesday, US Cellular´s The Future of Good program returns for its fourth year, to champion and invest in youth who are doing good in their communities by raising awareness for their causes and increasing their impact through financial contributions, the company said.
This year, from November 27, 2018 through January 8, 2019, adults are encouraged to visit TheFutureofGood.com to nominate youth ages six through 15, who are making an impact in US Cellular´s communities.
Following the nomination phase, 16 youth under age 16 will be recognized for doing extraordinary acts of good in their communities, and will receive USD 10,000 each to put toward their cause. The winners will be announced in February 2019, and their stories will be featured on TheFutureofGood.com.
To enter, nominators should visit TheFutureofGood.com and provide a brief essay that describes the nominee´s cause, how it is helping to make his/her community a better place, and how the nominee uses wireless connectivity or technology to further his/her cause. Nominees must not turn 16 before February 28, 2019.
