US Cellular reports second quarter 2016 net income of USD27m

United States Cellular Corporation (NYSE: USM) has reported net income attributable to US Cellular shareholders was USD27 million for the second quarter of 2016, compared to USD19 million in the same period one year ago, the company said.

The company reported total operating revenues of USD980 million for the second quarter of 2016, versus USD976 million for the same period one year ago.

United States Cellular Corporation provides a comprehensive range of wireless products and services to five million customers in 23 states. At the end of the second quarter of 2016, Telephone and Data Systems, Inc. owned 83 percent of U.S. Cellular.
