Universal Aviation Mexico, a joint venture between Avemex and Universal Weather and Aviation, Inc., has completed a multi-million renovation of their co-branded FBO at Toluca International Airport (MMTO), the companies said.
Universal Aviation is the ground support division of Universal® and has more than 50 locations in 20 countries, with five locations operated under Universal Aviation Mexico. Its location in Toluca is also one of the longest-running FBOs at the airport, first established in the early 1990s.
The facility includes a 16,384 square-foot FBO, three direct ramp access points from taxiways, 135,000 square feet of ramp space, and a controlled private parking lot for clients. It also features a 16,640 square-foot maintenance hangar, and three overnight hangars (92,000 square-feet) with controlled hangar and ramp access with CCD cameras and biometrix fingerprint scanners.
