United reports 1.8% increase in October 2016 consolidated capacity

United Airlines (UAL) has reported October 2016 consolidated capacity (available seat miles) increased 1.8 percent compared to October 2015.

UAL´s October 2016 consolidated load factor decreased 1.0 point compared to October 2015.

The company said it continues to expect fourth-quarter 2016 consolidated passenger unit revenue to decline 4.0 to 6.0 percent compared to the fourth quarter of 2015.

United Airlines and United Express operate more than 4,500 flights a day to 339 airports across five continents. In 2015, United and United Express operated more than 1.5 million flights carrying more than 140 million customers.
