United Airlines has announced it has taken delivery of its first Boeing 787-10, the company said.
United is the first North American airline to take delivery of the 787-10, and the first airline in the world to have the entire family of 787-8, 787-9 and 787-10 Dreamliners in its fleet.
The Boeing 787-10 offers superior fuel efficiency while providing a more comfortable customer experience onboard that allows passengers to arrive at their destinations feeling more refreshed.
United said the 787-10 is the first aircraft to be delivered with United´s signature all aisle access Polaris business class and UnitedÂ® Premium Plus seats already installed. Updated lighting patterns that mimic sunrise and sunset colors will help customers in each cabin fall asleep and wake up more adjusted to new time zones. United Airlines and United Express operate approximately 4,700 flights a day to 356 airports across five continents. In 2017, United and United Express operated more than 1.6 million flights carrying more than 148 million customers.
