United Airlines, National Association of Hispanic Journalists partner for 10th consecutive year

United Airlines has renewed its partnership with the National Association of Hispanic Journalists (NAHJ) for the 10th consecutive year and will be the official airline of the organization´s special events throughout 2016, the airline said.

The United-NAHJ 2016 partnership includes Platinum-level sponsorship of NAHJ´s first-ever joint convention with the National Association of Black Journalists, Aug. 3-7 in Washington, D.C. United will also be title sponsor of the NAHJ/Hispanicize Spanish-language journalism convention, April 4-8 in Miami, and regional and local chapter events in El Paso, New York, Chicago and other cities.

United began its support of the NAHJ in 2006.

United Airlines and United Express operate an average of nearly 5,000 flights a day to 342 airports across six continents. Approximately 84,000 United employees reside in every US state and in countries around the world.

The National Association of Hispanic Journalists (NAHJ) is dedicated to the recognition and professional advancement of Hispanics in the news industry. Established in April 1984, NAHJ created a national voice and unified vision for all Hispanic journalists.
