United Airlines on Monday said it has issued a progress report on its reservations computer system conversion which started on 3 March 2012.
The carrier converted from two reservation systems to one by moving reservations records into a new platform. The conversion is said to be part of steps to complete the United-Continental merger, as it allows United to serve all customers on the combined network from a single computer reservations platform.
In addition United said that it has has a single website, http://www.united.com, and a single frequent flyer programme, MileagePlus, for its worldwide customers.
