Captain Todd Insler, a 23-year veteran Boeing 757/767 pilot at United Airlines, was unanimously reelected chairman of the United Master Executive Council (MEC) of the Air Line Pilots Association, International (ALPA), the company said.
Capt. Insler will also retain his seat on the board of directors of United´s parent company, United Continental Holdings Inc. (NYSE:UAL).
Tom Murphy, a Boeing 757/767 captain, was elected MEC vice chairman; Bill Neveu, an Airbus 320 captain, was reelected secretary; and Rick Cameron, a Boeing 757/767 captain, was reelected treasurer.
The new slate of officers will begin their two-year terms on March 1, 2018.
Founded in 1931, the Air Line Pilots Association, International is the largest airline pilot union in the world and represents over 59,000 pilots at 33 US and Canadian airlines.
