Twilio revenue up 41% year-over-year

Twilio Inc. (NYSE: TWLO), the Cloud Communications Platform company, has reported financial results for its third quarter ended September 30, 2017, the company said.

Total revenue was USD 100.5 million for the third quarter of 2017, up 41% from the third quarter of 2016 and 5% sequentially from the second quarter of 2017.

Base revenue was USD 92.0 million for the third quarter of 2017, up 43% from the third quarter of 2016 and 5% sequentially from the second quarter of 2017.

GAAP loss from operations was USD 24.0 million for the third quarter of 2017, compared with GAAP loss from operations was USD 11.3 million for the third quarter of 2016. Non-GAAP loss from operations was USD 7.7 million for the third quarter of 2017, compared with non-GAAP loss from operations was USD 3.4 million for the third quarter of 2016.
