Turkish Airlines extends flight suspensions until May 20 due to COVID-19

Turkish Airlines has announced that, due to the continued spread of the coronavirus, it has extended its suspension of international flights until May 20, the company said.

The airline issued a statement that said the decision was made in accordance with the decisions by the authorities of the Republic of Turkey and to protect the public health from novel coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic.

The carrier previously said it would halt almost all international flights until April 17, but has now extended the cancellation until May 20.

Domestic flights have been suspended until May 1, the statement said.
