TripAdvisor has honored EVA Air with two distinctions, a Top 10 Major Airline in Asia Pacific, and Best Airline-Taiwan, the airline said.
TripAdvisor honored the world´s top carriers based on the quantity and quality of reviews and ratings gathered over a 12-month period for airlines worldwide. EVA earned its position among the honorees as the sole winner in Taiwan and a standout in the Asia Pacific region.
In addition to serving major cities throughout Asia, Taiwan-based EVA flies to Europe, Oceania and North America where gateways are Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, Seattle, Toronto and Vancouver.
EVA Air, a Star Alliance member, was established in 1989 as Taiwan´s first privately owned international airline. It is part of the Evergreen Group and a sister company to global container-shipping company Evergreen Line. It flies a fleet of over 70 Boeing and Airbus aircraft to more than 60 international destinations.
TripAdvisor offers advice from millions of travelers, with 465 million reviews and opinions covering 7 million accommodations, restaurants and attractions. It provides a variety of travel choices and planning features by checking more than 200 websites to help travelers find and book the lowest hotel prices. TripAdvisor branded sites reaching 390 million average unique monthly visitors in 49 markets worldwide.
