Trimble adds scheduling capabilities to field service management solution

Trimble (NASDAQ: TRMB) has added scheduling enhancements to its cloud-based work management solution, improving the productivity of mobile workforces, the company said.

The company said an important element of the Trimble PULSE suite of end-to-end field service management solutions is Trimble´s Work Management version 4.2, which adds intelligent scheduling tools, mobile apps and state-of-the-art performance analytics.

The enhanced solution automatically schedules and dispatch tasks to eliminate manual intervention, links tasks to enable more complex workflows, plans ahead while protecting the current schedule, manages lone workers, models contracts with service level agreements, improves communication with the field to enhance schedule accuracy and views real-time task metrics for improved intelligence and reporting.
