Routehappy, the product differentiation platform for air travel, has agreed with Travix, one of the world´s leading online travel companies, that Travix will integrate amenities from Routehappy´s Scores & Amenities API and airline rich content from Routehappy Hub, into flight shopping results, the company said.
The integration will allow Travix users in geographies and languages worldwide to see and compare amenities, along with targeted product and fare attribute content by flight, in a standard format called Universal Product Attribute (UPA) and Universal Ticket Attribute (UTA).
Travix is among the first global OTAs to integrate targeted rich content as a standard feature in flight results to improve the shopping experience for both flyers and airlines. Travix expects to launch Routehappy amenities later in Q2, followed by airline rich content UPAs from Routehappy Hub in Q3.
Travix and Routehappy are inviting airlines to participate in the integration, which will allow them to show their unique rich content on all Travix sites via Routehappy Hub at launch later in Q3. Airlines will be able to share comprehensive product content covering their worldwide schedules so users can see relevant features like aircraft, seat, food & beverage and entertainment offerings more directly in their flight results, through descriptive text, icons, photos, 360° virtual tours and videos. This integration comes after recent adoption announcements of Routehappy Hub by United Airlines, Sabre Corporation and Farelogix.
Routehappy is the product differentiation platform for air travel, providing rich content, data and tools for airlines and distributors to differentiate and better monetize flight shopping. It is based in New York.
