Travelport on Wednesday announced that it has renewed its long-term agreement with leisure travel organisation Kuoni, continuing Travelport’s position as GDS provider to Kuoni.
Under the terms of the extended agreement Kuoni will be integrating the Travelport Universal into specific areas of its business as well as adopting Travelport Smartpoint App, an upgrade to the Galileo Desktop.
Covered in the agreement are a number of countries in Europe and Asia and as part of the agreement technology provision will be tailored and adapted for a range of local requirements.

With a presence in over 170 countries and approximately 3,500 employees and 2011 net revenue of USD2.0bn, Travelport is comprised of the global distribution systems (GDS) business, which includes the Galileo and Worldspan brands and its Airline IT Solutions business.
