Transit Wireless, a neutral host wireless infrastructure company, announced that Eli Kay will join the company as chief financial officer and Michael Hoyt as senior vice president of Product Development, Engineering and Operations, the company said.
Both employees will be members of the senior leadership team and will report directly to Melinda White, chief executive officer of Transit Wireless.
Eli Kay comes to Transit Wireless with more than 20 years of corporate finance, risk management, audit and tax experience. Most recently, Kay served as CFO for JFK International Terminal (Terminal 4).
A Certified Public Accountant, he will lead accounting, finance, procurement and IT for Transit Wireless, as well as be responsible for its overall financial strategy.
Michael Hoyt joins Transit Wireless with a deep understanding of how to design, build and operate IP networks. He has over 20 years of telecommunications and engineering experience, serving in senior executive positions at Level 3 Communications and Windstream.
Hoyt will be responsible for network operations, engineering and product, project management and design, including operations across Transit Wireless´ award-winning New York City subway network.
