The Air France DC3 included in historical film DeGaulle

Air France Studio has announced it organized the ferry flight of its DC3 F-BBBE in the historical film De Gaulle, the company said.

The ferry flight was conducted between Paris-Orly and the film sets located at Melun aerodrome (France).

Two of the film´s actors, Lambert Wilson, in the role of De Gaulle, and Isabelle Carre, portraying Yvonne, got a close look of the legendary Air France DC3 during its landing. One of the film´s sequences depicts General De Gaulle walking in front of the propeller aircraft. While filming this scene, Wilson, who is an aviation fan, was able to visit the aircraft which makes up part of Air France´s historic heritage.
