TELUS to deploy fibre optic in Eastern Quebec



TELUS has been granted USD 31 million by the federal government´s Connect to Innovate program and the Quebec government´s Québec branché program to continue deploying its PureFibre broadband network in Quebec, the company said.

This amount is in addition to the USD 13.7 million that TELUS has already committed to investing in its incumbent territory. By 2021,TELUS will have invested over USD 300 million in its fibre-optic network.
