Telrad Networks, a global provider of innovative LTE telecom solutions, has announced that the city of Euless, Texas, has selected Telrad´s fixed LTE solution for their city-wide municipal applications, allowing for remote control and automation, the company said.
Euless is a city located just northeast of Dallas, Texas. Currently with a population of more than 54,000, the city has been experiencing a growth spurt as more people move to Euless from the Dallas-Fort Worth area, resulting in operational scaling issues.
In order to be more productive and better manage municipal assets, the city decided to deploy a wireless network to improve work force efficiency and flexibility.
Euless selected Telrad´s fixed LTE solution, including its flagship BreezeCOMPACT 1000 base station. The LTE deployment has enabled the city to automate traffic lights, school zone flashers, the aggregated collection of water meter data, and more.
