Telia Carrier expands backbone network into Japan

Telia Carrier has announced that it has extended its network in APAC with a new PoP (Point-of-Presence) in Tokyo, Japan, the company said.

The new PoP gives customers the opportunity to connect directly to the Telia Carrier global backbone, one of the largest and best connected in the world. This will improve the availability of high-speed IP Transit, Cloud Connect, Ethernet and IPX services for consumers and enterprises in Japan and beyond.
