Telchemy releases analytics for videoconferencing devices and systems

Telchemy, the provider of software analytics technology for real time applications and IoT, announced the availability of VQmon/EP-VCF, the latest addition to Telchemy´s embedded analytics product line and the first embedded analytics agent specifically targeted at videoconferencing endpoints, the company said.

VQmon/EP-VCF directly integrates into videoconferencing applications and devices, employing VQmon´s proven perceptual models to compute user perceived quality (QoE) and performance metrics in real time. This advanced technology leverages elements of the video and audio decoding process, enabling videoconferencing endpoints to report performance data in real time with virtually no impact on CPU and memory requirements. VQmon/EP-VCF supports a broad range of video and audio codecs, including the new ultra high definition video, high definition and multi-rate adaptive audio codecs.
