Telephone and Data Systems, Inc. (NYSE: TDS) said it has reported total operating revenues of USD1,373.8 million for the third quarter of 2015, versus USD1,280.0 million for the comparable period one year ago.
Net income (loss) attributable to TDS shareholders and related diluted earnings per share were USD51.1 million and USD0.46, respectively, for the third quarter of 2015, compared to USD(116.0) million and USD(1.07), respectively, in the comparable period one year ago.
Effective September 1, 2015, US Cellular discontinued it loyalty rewards program. All unredeemed rewards points expired and the deferred revenue related to the expired points was recognized as USD58.2 million in service revenues in the quarter.
