Swiss Airlines refurbishes Airbus A340 fleet

Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS) has announced it has fully refurbished the cabins of its five Airbus A340 aircraft with first, business and economy class seats, the company said.

Swiss operates its Airbus A340s on services between Zurich and Boston, Johannesburg and Shanghai. The A340 will also be deployed on SWISS´s new Zurich-Osaka (Japan) route, on which service will commence on 1 March.

Swiss International Air Lines AG, commonly referred to as Swiss or Swiss Air Lines, is the flag carrier of Switzerland, operating scheduled services in Europe and to North America, South America, Africa and Asia. Zurich Airport serves as the hub, Geneva Airport as a focus city.
