Swedavia picks Lockheed Martin for next generation systems

Swedish Airport Operator Swedavia said it has selected Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) to deliver a new generation of multi-airport operational systems that will transform the way critical information is shared with stakeholders across their network.

Swedavia is responsible for 10 state-owned airports in Sweden. A world leader in developing airports with the least environmental impact, Swedavia´s role is to create the access Sweden needs to facilitate travel, business and meetings nationally and internationally.

Headquartered in Bethesda, Maryland, Lockheed Martin is a global security and aerospace company that — with the addition of Sikorsky — employs approximately 126,000 people worldwide and is principally engaged in the research, design, development, manufacture, integration and sustainment of advanced technology systems, products and services.
