Sutherland Asbill & Brennan LLP said it has launched its Texas openCourts mobile app, the only free app to provide extensive user-friendly information on Texas courts.
Texas openCourts features detailed information on federal and state district civil courts, and state appellate courts. Easy-to-use functionality allows users to access the information through interactive maps or to search by using the name of a judge, a court or a location.
The app enables users to collect helpful information, place it into a “Briefcase” folder, and then share that data via email with one click. A “Favorites” section also is available for storing frequently needed content.
Sutherland opened its Houston office in 2002 and has established a powerful presence in Texas with an emphasis on serving energy clients.
In addition, Texas openCourts has a Courthouse of the Month feature, which explores the history, character and quirks of the state´s distinctive courthouses, and is illustrated with colorful photos.
The Texas openCourts app is available through the Apple App Store, Google Play and the Amazon Appstore.
