(NASDAQ: SMCI) said it has launched its new X11 generation UP systems and solutions, raising the bar on performance and efficiency for its single processor platforms, delivering the industry´s broadest range of workstations, long-life embedded solutions and motherboard platforms supporting the new IntelÂ® XeonÂ® Processor E3-1200 v5 Family formerly codenamed Skylake-S.
New solutions support DDR4 memory, USB 3.1, M.2, Dual 10GBase-T and Quad Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports, IPMI 2.0, up to 7x PCI-E 3.0 x16 slots with Supermicro WIO (Wide I/O) flexible expansion slot capability, SATA DOM (Disk on Module) support, seven-year long-life for embedded applications, short-depth and ultra-short depth appliance optimized chassis, high-efficiency power supplies with redundancy and BBPÂ® (Battery Backup Power) options. Supermicro´s new X11 UP solutions target for a wide range of applications including embedded server and security appliances, Cloud computing, web hosting, and network appliances.
