SuperCom (SPCB) has acquired Alvarion, a Tel Aviv-based provider of autonomous Wi-Fi networks in over 25,000 sites in more than 95 countries, the company said.
The company said the acquisition broadens its solutions towards a safe and secure connected world
Alvarion designs solutions for carrier Wi-Fi, enterprise connectivity, smart city, smart hospitality, connected campuses and connected events that are both complete and heterogeneous to ensure optimize operational efficiency.
The company said the acquisition extends its range of capabilities into new markets, distribution outlets, products and services, including Secure Internet of Things (SIoT) where Alvarion´s network capability merges with M2M/IoT products to offer to the market.
Alvarion, as a SuperCom company, will continue to provide full support, services and upgrades for its Legacy, WBS series, and WBSac line of products.
