SriLankan Airlines suspends operations from April 8 to 21 due to coronavirus

SriLankan Airlines, the flag carrier of Sri Lanka, has announced it will temporarily suspend all its flights from April 8 until April 21 because of travel restrictions imposed by the destinations where it operates.

The suspension is due to the coronavirus, the company said.

The airline also announced that it was willing to operate special flights during this period to repatriate Sri Lankans who wanted to return home.

The airline´s cargo services will continue to operate from its global network of special flights as and when required.
