Springfield-Branson National Airport reports 1m in passenger traffic in 2018


Springfield‐Branson National Airport (SGF) has reported 1,075,425 in passenger traffic for 2018, an 8.3% increase over 2017, the company said.

SGF passenger numbers have grown 43% since 2013. Nationally, airport passenger numbers in 2018 grew approximately 5.5%.

The airport said it plans to expand its parking lots and rental car facilities in 2019, adding approximately 300 more spots.

Air cargo transported by carriers UPS and FedEx grew 5.5% to 30,613,895 pounds in 2018. Aviation fuel to airlines and general aviation aircraft grew 13% to 7,954,421 gallons.

Four airlines serve Springfield: Allegiant, American, Delta, and United, providing service to 13 non-stop destinations.
