Spok Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: SPOK), a global provider of healthcare communications, has announced operating results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2017, the company said.
In the 2017 second quarter, consolidated revenue was USD 42.3 million, up from USD 41.4 million in the first quarter. Software revenue was USD 16.7 million in the second quarter of 2017, up from USD 15.6 million in the prior quarter.
Wireless revenue totaled USD 25.6 million in the second quarter, compared to USD 25.8 million in the prior quarter.
Net income for the second quarter of 2017 was USD 1.5 million, or USD 0.07 per diluted share, up from USD 0.9 million, or USD 0.04 per diluted share, in the prior quarter.
Second quarter EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, amortization and accretion) totaled USD 5.3 million, or 12.4 percent of revenue, up from EBITDA of USD 4.6 million, or 11.1 percent of revenue, in the first quarter.
