Spirit Airlines flight attendants to vote on tentative agreement

The Association of Flight Attendants-CWA (AFA) have reached a tentative agreement with Spirit Airlines management on a five-year agreement that would cover over 2,200 flight attendants, the association said.

The agreement, reached with the assistance of the National Mediation board, contains wage increases and work rule improvements.

The tentative agreement will be presented to the Spirit Airlines Flight Attendant leadership. Once approved, further details will be released, and the deal will be sent to the membership for ratification.

The Association of Flight Attendants has led the advancement of the flight attendant profession for 70 years. Nearly 60,000 Flight Attendants come together to form AFA, part of the 700,000-member strong Communications Workers of America (CWA), AFL-CIO.
