Spirit AeroSystems names company veteran as CFO

Kansas-based Spirit AeroSystems [NYSE: SPR] has announced it has appointed airline veteran Mark Suchinski as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, and Damon Ward as Interim Controller and Principal Accounting Officer, the company said.

These appointments follow the resignations of Jose Garcia, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, and John Gilson, Vice President, Controller and Principal Accounting Officer.

Suchinski has served in various financial leadership roles at Spirit since 2006. Since 2019, he served as Spirit´s Vice President, Quality.

Spirit AeroSystems Inc. designs and builds aerostructures for both commercial and defense customers. The company´s core products include fuselages, pylons, nacelles and wing components for aircraft.
