SparkPost recognized with industry award by Tech Council of Maryland

SparkPost has reported its CEO Phillip Merrick has been awarded Technology CEO of the Year by the Tech Council of Maryland at the 28th annual industry awards, the company said.

The awards recognize individuals and businesses that have had a positive impact on the state´s technology industry over the last year. The awards were given during a dinner attended by more than 600 technology and business leaders.

The Tech Council recognized Merrick for his leadership, working with the teams that directly contributed to the growth of SparkPost´s customer base, while also forging significant business agreements, including a strategic partnership with HP.

Tech Council of Maryland, Inc. is a large technology trade group serving the advanced technology and biotechnology communities of Maryland.
