Southwest Airlines to serve Hawaii routes

Southwest Airlines Co. (NYSE: LUV) plans to begin selling tickets in 2018 for service to Hawaii and also announced its intention to launch an application process for Federal Aviation Administration authorization for Extended Operations (ETOPS), the company said.

Service details are to be announced at a later date.

Service to Turks and Caicos is scheduled to begin Nov. 5, 2017.
