Southwest Airlines pilots union board casts no confidence vote in Southwest CEO

The board of directors from the Southwest Airlines Pilots´ Association (SWAPA) has voted 20-0 a vote of no confidence in Southwest Airlines CEO Gary Kelly and COO Mike Van de Ven, the association said.

The pilots are joined by the mechanics of the Aircraft Mechanics Fraternal Association (AMFA) whose National Executive Council (NEC) has also completed a vote of no confidence.

Located in Dallas, Texas, the Southwest Airlines Pilots´ Association (SWAPA) is a non-profit employee organization representing the more than 8,300 pilots of Southwest Airlines.
