Dallas-based Southwest Airlines Co. (NYSE: LUV) has announced it has extended its bookable flight schedule through June 8, 2019, the company said.
The extension brings an additional new nonstop route linking San Jose, Calif., and El Paso once weekly on Sundays beginning April 14, 2019, as well as resuming Sunday service between San Jose, Calif., and New Orleans.
The carrier will resume daily seasonal service on April 8, 2019, between Dallas Love Field and Pensacola, Fla.
On Saturday, April 13, 2019, Southwest will also resume seasonal service on Saturdays between:
Albuquerque and Orlando
Boston and Orlando
Charleston, S.C., and Denver
New Orleans and Cancun
Kansas City, Mo., and Pensacola, Fla.
Beginning Oct. 3, 2018, Southwest will operate nonstop service between:
Columbus, Ohio, and Houston (Hobby)
Louisville, Ky., and Houston (Hobby)
Memphis and Denver
Albany and Las Vegas*
On Saturday, Oct. 6, 2018, the carrier also will begin seasonal nonstop service weekly on Saturdays between Cleveland and Orlando, and Milwaukee and Fort Myers, Fla. The following day, the carrier will launch Sunday-only service between Oklahoma City and Nashville, Denver and El Paso, and Oakland, Calif. and Tucson, Ariz.
In its 48th year of service, Southwest Airlines Co. operates more than 4,000 weekday departures among a network of 99 destinations in the United States and 10 additional countries during peak seasons.
